Standing Displays FAQs

What's the difference between roll up banners and X-frame banners?

Roll up banners retract into a protective base for transport—pull up to display, retract to pack. X-frame banners use a lightweight frame that the graphic attaches to with grommets. Roll ups are faster to deploy; X-frames are more budget-friendly and allow easy graphic changes.

What size backdrop do I need for photos?

For individual headshots, 5-6 feet wide is sufficient. For small groups (2-3 people), 8 feet wide works well. For larger groups or full-body shots, 10+ feet wide is recommended. Height should be at least 7-8 feet for standing photos.

Are the displays single or double-sided?

It depends on the product. Banner stands are typically single-sided. Pillow case walls are available in single or double-sided configurations. Pop-up walls are single-sided. Light box towers can be 3 or 4-sided. Product pages specify options for each display.

How do I update graphics on my existing display?

Replacement graphics are available for all Strike standing displays. Order new graphics sized for your existing hardware—we'll produce them to fit your frame. This is more economical than buying complete new displays.

Can I combine different display types?

Absolutely. Many customers use pillow case walls as back walls, banner stands on either side, and light box counters up front. Mixing display types creates visual depth and maximizes impact.

How do light boxes work?

LED strips around the frame's interior edge illuminate your graphic from behind. The SEG fabric graphic slides into a channel around the frame perimeter, creating a seamless, glowing display. LEDs are energy-efficient and plug into standard outlets.

What if my display gets damaged?

Replacement parts are available for most hardware components. Contact customer service with your display model and the part needed. For graphics, we can reprint to your original specifications.

Can displays be used outdoors?

Most standing displays are designed for indoor use. Banner stands can be used outdoors in calm conditions with weighted bases. For outdoor events, consider our flags, tents, and outdoor-specific products.
